Svarvar is an early-stage greenfield Lithium project.
It is situated in western Finland, 60 km west of the city of Seinäjoki.
The project is located within Ostrobothia, nearby the Central Ostrobothnia region, which is considered a “significant lithium-bearing area in Europe”.
The target is located 150 km southwest of “Länttä”, a Li mine currently under development, which is expected to be Europe’s first producer of high-grade lithium carbonate.
A Li refinery is also currently under construction in the nearby port town of Kokkola, meaning the local area is exceptionally well placed for Li discoveries.
Svarvar contains mapped pegmatites, with co-incident Li anomalism in historic base of till (BOT) geochemistry.
Exploration work will commence this summer 2023, with mapping and rock chip sampling planned.
