Svarvar

Commodity:

Lithium

Area (km2):

294.35

  • Svarvar is an early-stage greenfield Lithium project.

  • It is situated in western Finland, 60 km west of the city of Seinäjoki.

  • The project is located within Ostrobothia, nearby the Central Ostrobothnia region, which is considered a “significant lithium-bearing area in Europe”.

  • The target is located 150 km southwest of “Länttä”, a Li mine currently under development, which is expected to be Europe’s first producer of high-grade lithium carbonate.

  • A Li refinery is also currently under construction in the nearby port town of Kokkola, meaning the local area is exceptionally well placed for Li discoveries.

  • Svarvar contains mapped pegmatites, with co-incident Li anomalism in historic base of till (BOT) geochemistry.

  • Exploration work will commence this summer 2023, with mapping and rock chip sampling planned.
