Finland

Plethora Green Energy Finland Oy is an exploration company focused on early-stage battery metal discoveries in Finland. It is a 100% owned Finnish subsidiary of Plethora Green Energy Corp.

Metals such as lithium (Li), nickel (Ni) and cobalt (Co) are used as cathode materials in lithium-ion batteries, which are the key component in electric vehicles. As demand for electric vehicles has grown, the need for battery metals has surged.

To fuel the green revolution, exploration and mining of battery metals needs to increase to meet demand. This is important as we aim to switch from fossil fuels to renewable energy, to limit the impacts of global warming.

The Finnish government has pledged to be carbon-neutral by 2035, with the aim of becoming the world’s first fossil-free welfare society. Exploration and mining are one of the key factors in achieving this goal, by providing a safe, reliable, and ethical source of raw materials.

Finland has several world class deposits, and is an excellent country to operate in.

Our mission is to sustainably explore for battery metals in Finland, using the latest exploration techniques, guided by expert knowledge. We are committed to operating at the highest standards of health and safety, ethics, and respect for the environment. Transparent and open community engagement is also at the heart of our company culture.

Exploration will involve collecting and analyzing geological, geochemical, and geophysical datasets, which are obtained through mapping, sampling, and geophysical surveys.

Plethora Green Energy Finland Oy currently has 12 exploration reservations in Finland.
