Polsontie is an early-stage greenfield Lithium project.
It is situated in western Finland, 90 km northeast of the city of Seinäjoki.
The project is within Central Ostrobothnia region, which is considered a “significant lithium-bearing area in Europe”.
The target is located 20 km south of “Länttä”, a Li mine currently under development, which is expected to be Europe’s first producer of high-grade lithium carbonate.
A Li refinery is also currently under construction in the nearby port town of Kokkola, meaning the local area is exceptionally well placed for Li discoveries.
Polsontie contains mapped pegmatites, with co-incident Li anomalism in historic base of till (BOT) geochemistry.
Exploration work will commence this summer 2023, with mapping and rock chip sampling planned.
